A Made-up Trainer Has Just Earned 7 Badges

This is the newest example of a trainer card. This time it shows the earned badges. From left to right (top then bottom) ... Bug-Poison-Ground-Rock-Fire-Fighting-Dark. A message to all gym leaders send the DarkGymLeader a copy of your badge so he can store it in the trainer card generator program.

Hello all, I've created Trainer Cards for the gyms I'm associated with, Ground, Poison, and Bug, and posted the images below. Officially I'm only the leader of the Ground gym, but I suppose until further notice I'll be serving as leader of the other two. The teams and their items consist of:

Poison
Pokemon: Nidoking, Toxicroak, Gengar, Roserade, Weezing, Venusaur, Crobat, Tentacruel, Drapion
Items: Choice Specs,Wide Lens, Life Orb, White Herb, Black Sludge, Leftovers, Choice Band, Choice Scarf, Scope Lens


Bug
Pokemon: Scizor, Shuckle, Heracross, Yanmega, Forretress, Armaldo, Shedinja, Drapion, Ninjask
Items:Life Orb, Occa Berry, Choice Scarf, Lum Berry, Shed Shell, Iron Ball, Leftover, Scope Lens, Focus Sash



When you defeat any of these teams you'll be award the Quake Badge, Toxic Badge, or Swarm Badge, respectively, which are also posted below (please forgive the MS Paint-ness of the images) . My Soul Silver FC is 5414-2680-3128 and my PBR FC is 1935-3441-4975. If you want to battle, just give me a buzz.

Decisions and Badges

First off, I think I'm going to call the badge for the ground gym the Sand Badge, but I don't have any cool images of sand or deserts. Anybody know where I can find one?

Secondly, I need some input on what to do with the final two pokes for my ground gym: Dugtrio and Flygon. I don't know whether to make Dugtrio Jolly or Adamant. If it's Jolly, it can outspeed more guys (i.e. Timid Starmies and Gengars), if Adamant it can hit harder. It can learn Sucker Punch, which would help make up for a speed gap, but that's iffy. With the Flygon, I'm trying to figure out the move set and EV's. It's going to have Roost, Toxic, Fire Blast and it's going to have max HP EV's but after that I'm stuck. I don't want to give it EQ, so I can replace it with either Earth Power or Dragon Claw. Both give STAB, but one is physical and the other special. Flygon has a higher base attack than special attack (100 vs. 80) but EarthPower would give better coverage and I could always pump a few EV's in (though that raises the question of what exactly to do with the rest of the EV's after HP).

So, thoughts?

The Dark Gym Badge

Ok this time it has nothing to do with my personal logo. Right now, I'm considering the name "Corona Badge" or "Eclipse Badge". I'm leaning towards the first. I should have made it red since I like my Coronas with Grenadine. Comments ...

Fire Badge?

I know I said I wanted to avoid anything that looked too obviously fiery, but I was playing around for a little while and came up with this and honestly I like the design enough to have it as my fire badge. Problem is.. what to call it? The REAL fire badges are the Volcano and the Heat badge.. Maybe this is the Burn Badge? Eruption Badge? Flame Badge? R.C.'s Awesome Badge For Beautiful People Badge?

I have no idea how to make it shimmer like those TCG badges. I know it looks like a little kid drew it, i need to work on it. I was leaning towards a red center/house and a dark badge interior, but I think I like the Pokéball center better.

Do we need "No Stinking Badges?"

Since I think it would be cheaper for gym leaders to create electronic badges. I decided to use some down time to design a dark badge based of of these TCG badges. The changes I plan to make are the wording (of course) and the shape of the badge. What does darkness look like and for the matter, what does normal look like?
