Pokemon X and Y right around the corner!!!!!

Hey guys the games have a lot of hype now, and I myself can not wait to see what they have now came up with.  With them basically here I thought I would post a little "Summary" of what has been released.

  • Fairies - New Type, and New moves.
  1. Parting Shot
    Type: Unknown

This move reduces an enemy Pokemon's Sp Atk and Atk stats before forcing the enemy Pokemon to retreat.
  2. Parabolic Charge
    Type: Electric

This move deals damage to all enemies in range on the field - including allies - and then heals the user by 50% of the damage dealt.
  3. Boomburst
    Type: Normal

This move deals damage to all enemies on the field, including any allies.
  4. Moonblast
    Type: Fairy

This move deals damage to an enemy Pokemon with a chance to reduce their Sp Atk.
  5. Noble Roar
    Type: Normal

This move lowers the Atk and Sp Atk of an enemy Pokemon.
  6. Fairy Wind
    Type: Fairy

This move is a powerful Fairy-type attack that summons a wind that attacks enemy Pokemon when they attack.
  • New Pokemon + some old favorites are returning. (Not a completely new pokedex?)
  1. Talonflame (Japan: Flarrow)
This is an evolution of the Pokemon Fletchling, which had been previously revealed. It is a Fire/Flying type Pokemon, and can learn the move Brave Bird.
  2. Scatterbug (Japan: Kofukimushi)
This is basically a new Caterpie for Pokemon X and Y, a Bug-type Pokemon that resembles a caterpiller. It was first revealed in CoroCoro's June issue.
  3. Spewpa (Japan: Kofuurai)
This is an evolution from Scatterbug and resembles a larger version of its predecessor clouded by what is presumed to be a white powder that acts as a carapace for the Pokemon. It is a Bug-type Pokemon.
  4. Vivillon (Japan: Vivillon)
Vivillion is the third and final evolution of Scatterbug and resembles Butterfree - even in its prior evolutions. It is a Bug/Flying type Pokemon and can learn the move Struggle Bug.
  5. Noivern (Japan: Onvern)
This Flying/Dragon type resembles a bat, but its earlier prevolutions are not yet known. It can learn a new move Boomburst, which I have detailed in the Moves section above.
  6. Clauncher (Japan: Udebbou)
This is a Water-type Pokemon resembling a blue lobster with an oversized claw, which can use the move Clawhammer.
  7. Skrelp (Japan: Kuzumou)
Skrelp is a 'psuedo seaweed' Pokemon and is designed to look like a rotting piece of kelp, which he supposedly uses to be ignored by prey before covering them in poison. Skrelp is a Poison/Water type Pokemon and uses the ability Sludge Bomb.
  8. Litleo (Japan: Shishiko)
This is a Fire/Normal type Pokemon and resembles lion cub. It was first revealed in the June issue of CoroCoro.
  9. Flabébé (Japan: Furabebe)
Though this Pokemon looks like it is actually a flower, the monster itself is the tiny Fairy creature sitting on top of the flower. Flabébé is a Fairy-type Pokemon that finds and protects a flower soon after its birth, which it stays attached to for its lifetime. It can use the ability Fairy Wind and was first revealed in CoroCoro's June issue.
  • Poke Amie!!!!!!!!!
  • Still only one save file!!!!
  1. If you were hoping that Pokemon X and Y will change the series' tradition for only having one save file then you're about to be disappointed: it was revealed during E3 2013 that Pokemon X and Y will still only use one save file.
Pokemon can be imported from previous save files, however, though it is not yet clear which games and how this will work.

  • Sky Battles!
  • Horde Battles!
  • The possibility that EVs and IVs will now be more visible. --- Still haven't seen or heard much of this.

The release dates is Oct 12th ALL AROUND THE WORLD. Happy hunting everyone!
