Happy Groundhog Day

Groundhog Day is a holiday celebrated on February 2 in the United States and Canada. According to folklore, if it is cloudy when a groundhog emerges from its burrow on this day, then spring will come early. If it is sunny, the groundhog will supposedly see its shadow and retreat back into its burrow, and the winter weather will continue for six more weeks.

In the Pokémon Black/White games, the season changes every month. So, I predict another 3 weeks of Summer.

----
Spring occurs in January, May, and September.
Summer occurs in February, June, and October.
Autumn occurs in March, July, and November.
Winter occurs in April, August, and December.

Befriend Arceus In the DreamWorld

In September 2010, a poll began on the official website to decide upon the next Pokémon to give away through the Dream World. The winner of this poll was the legendary Pokémon Arceus. It is the first of the Pokémon given away over the Dream World not to have a special ability. Unlike the rest, it is at Level 100.

Another poll ran for the international games where Arceus also won. Its distribution runs through February 2012. It is accessed via the password: ARCEUSVOTE

Login to the http://en.pokemon-gl.com/ website and follow the "Promotions" link. Choose the "Receive the Mythical Pokémon Arceus!" Enter the password. When you enter the Dream World, Arceus will be waiting for you when you exit.

Get the Mighty Mewtwo!

The legend of the Genetic Pokémon Mewtwo has grown ever since it debuted in the Pokémon Red Version and Pokémon Blue Versiongames. The Psychic-type Pokémon has always been considered one of the most powerful Pokémon available, and also very tough to catch.

You'll have a new opportunity to get the Legendary Mewtwo once again! Starting on February 12th, you can receive Mewtwo for yourPokémon Black Version or Pokémon White Version game. Take part in a limited-time distribution event to get this amazing Pokémon. This Mewtwo is incredibly strong and fast, and it even has an exclusive move that Mewtwo cannot normally learn!

More details will be revealed about this special Pokémon soon.

Free Lucario character unlock code included with White or Black version

Is there anyone who plays Pokemon who doesn't have B/W yet? Was this deal (Target) made to squeeze out the last Lucario fan hold outs?

Herman Cain Quotes Pokémon Theme Song

http://marquee.blogs.cnn.com/2011/12/05/herman-cain-quotes-pokemon-on-his-way-out/

A weird moment of last night's Republican debate probably slipped completely under the radar for most viewers. This moment occurred in Herman Cain's closing statement, when the former pizza-chain CEO recited a favorite inspirational quote:

"A poet once said, 'life can be a challenge, life can seem impossible, but it's never easy when there's so much on the line.'"

Nothing strange about that on the surface, until you Google the quote and you realize that these words of wisdom were spoken not by a poet, but by Donna Summer in her song "The Power of One." This isn't even one of Summer's classic hits; she recorded it just over a decade ago as the theme song for Pokémon: The Movie 2000.

Banette and Togekiss Global Link Giveaways

Ghost Gym Leader here with a nice little update on special pokemon Giveaways!

Nintendo has announced the first unique Pokémon distribution for Pokémon Black & White games in the US. This giveaway is a special Banette with its Hidden Ability of Cursed Body. This Pokémon is obtained via a password to be given in the next Nintendo Power issue and is accessible from yesterday (9/15/2011) until 3/1/2012. Providing the password isn't a unique serial code seen in the Japanese versions, I'll post up the info as soon as it becomes avialable.

In addition to this, the special Togekiss present started this month, giving the ability to receive a Togekiss with Super Luck in the month of your birthday, as set in your Trainer Club account. When it's your birthday month, you'll receive an e-mail regarding it within the system itself in your Trainer Club Account.
