EV Training Hot Spots
With Pokerus and a Macho Brace, after giving you guys 10 vitamins, you will only need to battle 19 2EV Pokemon to max out one stat.
For an easy time getting EVs check out these hot spots I found:
[Attack Spot | Super Rod]
Gyarados - 2 Attack Point(s)
1) Fly to the Resort Area head North towards Rt 228.
2) Head West at the first road sign where the two trainers are.
3) Use the Super Rod to fish in the sea. You will only catch Gyarados.
[Speed Spot | Surf-Bike]
Poliwhirl - 2 Speed Point(s)
Poliwag - 1 Speed Point
1) Fly to the Resort Area head North towards Rt 228.
2) Pass the two trainers and cross the first patch of grass
3) Pass the road sign. You should be in a sandstorm now.
4) Ride your bike up the first ramp/sand slide you see.
5) Head West down the steps and Surf in the Pond.
[Special Attack Spot | Surf]
Golduck - 2 Sp. Attack Point(s)
1) Fly to the Resort Area and head south
2) Head East at the first intersection.
3) Surf in the pond with the tree standing in the middle.
[Defense Spot | Boat Ride]
Graveler - 2 Defense Point(s)
1)Fly to Canalave City
2)Head to the West side of the harbor and talk to the sailor
3)Sail to Iron Island.
4)Head up the steps, and enter the cave. Make the 1st left.
5)Most of the Pokemon here should be Graveler w/ very few Zubat.
[Special Defense Spot | Surf]
Tentacruel - 2 Sp. Defense Point(s)
1)Fly to Sunyshore City
2)Head to the North beach towards Victory Raod
3)Surf heading North and move away from the beach.
4)As you head out you should mostly see Tentacruel and very few Pelipper (2 Defense).
This should get you started. If anyone wishes to add to this try to maintain the format.

Two of my favorite areas that you didn't mention are rte. 229 (just above the resort area) and rte. 225 (just left of the survival area).
On Rte. 229 you'll encounter:
Gloom: 2 sp. atk ev's
Oddish: 1 sp. atk ev's
Weepinbeel: 2 atk ev's
Bellsprout: 1 atk ev's
Pinsir: 2 atk ev's
volbeat: 1 spd ev
Illumise: 1 spd ev
And in the event of an outbreak:
Pidgey: 1 spd ev.
On Rte. 225 you'll encounter:
Fearow: 2 spd ev's
Spearow: 1 spd ev's
Raticate: 2 spd ev's
Ratata: 1 spd ev
Machoke: 2 atk ev's
Roselia: 2 sp. atk ev's
For Attack, you can just fish from the edge of that lake. Only one other Pokemon will show up, Seaking I believe, which is also 2 Att Evs. (just in case you don't want to bring a surfer with you)
Has anyone found a good HP spot?
My preferred spot for speed training is Victory Road. Go down in the basement and beging surfing, and once you do the only opponents you'll fight are Golbats, netting you 2 speed EV's eash. As for HP, the quickest way I've found is just to tear up the Bidoof's outside of the starting town.
Only sad thing about killing Bidoof's is that with the Macho Brace, Pokerus and 10 HP up, you need to kill 38 of them (for 252ev). I haven't found the guy that needs 252ev in HP though.
Thers is also Quagsire(2HP)/Wooper(1HP) on Rt 212 South of Hearthome City in the Marsh.
They say that in the EV Hotspot FAQ (which I hate more and more each time I try to use it).
In practice you run into a number of other Pokemon surfing on 212, at which point I'd rather just slaughter bidoof.
I used to go into into the mountain to fight clefairy (2 hp ev's each), but got frustrated by how many other things popped up more frequently. So after a little investigation, I discovered Gastrodon/shellos give 2/1 hp ev's repsectively. They appear pretty frequently down by pal park on rte. 221.
Nice!
That must be it. I think the FAQ had it typo'ed as route 222 and I wondered why I never saw any.
